When I asked my sister what size clothing she'd like, she said that she had a huge gap at 3 - 6 months. I passed all Kathryn's clothing onto her for her older daughter, who's now 3. When she grew out of clothing my sister passed them onto her sister in law (if appropriate, her sister in law had a boy baby and he's not likely to be wearing the dresses and skirts etc), or a friend with a girl about a year younger.Once my sister knew she was having a girl, she started asking around for the stuff she'd passed on to be passed back her way, she got a nasty surprise. She got an unattractive selection of newborn and 0 - 3 month stuff, mostly lemon yellow or white and all the lovely things that I was given or that our mum made has gone missing. She was very very upset (and I'm a bit upset myself too).
She asked for things that are neither white nor lemon yellow, and that are feminine but not necessarily pink. I've got a few other things planned for the big little baby, which I'll post as I go, and I think hurrying is a good idea!

I'm really sorry that all the special stuff is missing, that's heartbreaking :(
The babygro is looking excellent though!
My girls were all great big babies and didn't wear "newborn" sizes either. I never thought of making onesies like that. It's adorable. Lucky for your niece, you're a talented woman.
That is a good size for a baby! Hope your sister is recovering, and baby Molly is also doing well. Nice work on the onesie :-) I've pm'ed you re the citrus purse, btw.
Sorry, my kids are way older. =^.^=
Hope Sis recovers well.
