It's all due to Kathryn. She went to a school club - art club. They made stuff with fimo, and she made me a beautiful necklace.
I then told everyone who asked that she'd like fimo as a birthday present. I knew she liked it and it cooks in the oven. And I thought it might be interesting for me too.
The result? She has bucket loads of fimo, and a few tools.
We made beads, and a few other bits. Kathryn spelled her name out. We baked it. It came out perfectly.
I have plans. Involving stretchy cord, the bead roller, and many different colours of fimo. Watch out!
