No update really

I don't really have anything to update.

Well, I'm still knitting the corinne I started as soon as I saw the new Knitty.

I'm working my way through the Harry Potter books (again). And this time something caught my eye. Hagrid offers the kids some rock cakes. Really hard, bad, rock cakes. Now I remember rock cakes from my childhood, and they were lovely. Really crumbly, fruity and.. well just more-ish.

So I made some. And some more. And indeed, there will be more in the future. Yum:)

I had my birthday last week and my work spoiled me, which was really nice. I got a nice Amazon voucher, a tasty cake which we all ate in the office (the advantage of working in a nursery is that they have a cook. Who makes cakes:) and they gave me a huge orchid. Which I'm doing my best not to kill (I don't have a good track record here though).

But I haven't really got a large amount to report.
