Hey, it's midnight, and I've just finished for the night.
What's new here?
Oh yes. I may have mentioned before that I love reading. Have I mentioned that I love reading so much that I have 8 boxes of books in my parents loft?
Finally had enough of not being able to read them, and I've decided to replace them, where possible, with e-books. I don't want to buy the physical books as I already have them, so I'm hunting out all the lovely books I had.
I'm a bit annoyed to find that the particular series I wanted to read has book 1 free (yay), book 2 to purchase, book 3 not available in e-format and book 4 for free. Wait a minute, book 4? Eeep, new book! And book 3 not available? Kind of spoils the whole idea, surely!
What do people think of e-books? And the free "taster" books? I think they're great.

I love love LOVE my Kindle. And I particularly like that I can download a sample to try any book out before I decide whether I really want it.
That is silly, though, having 1, 2 & 4 of a series available.....
One of the only real benefits of buying my husband an ipad for his birthday/fathers' day gift is the ability to put those huge computer books on it so he doesn't have to carry a backpack full to work.
Although he is enjoying playing Angry Birds.....
