And we're back!

Finally we're back. The return of broadband had something to do with Himself tidying the wires going from the phone point to the broadband box.

Anyhow, here are some pictures of my costume for the Halloween Ball. Which was totally amazing and I had a great time.

I saw The Hackney Colliery Band who were fabulous. You just haven't lived until you have seen a band where the drummer is dressed like Dr Frankenfurter and playing Angels with brass instruments. Just take my word for it! And I've found a youtube clip, here.

I saw a man juggling chain saws dressed in a tiny little pair of shorts.

I saw Abney Park! Live! And bounced my way back to my friends who were not so interested in the music, about 2 foot off the ground afterwards.

I drank a lot of cola (I don't do alcohol very well. Cola has caffeine and a sugar rush. Two for one.)

Best overheard line of the night was: "Please may I touch your electric penis!" (To explain, there were two Elizabethan Steampunk knights, one of whom had a plasma ball on the end of his codpiece)

I didn't take any pictures of the night (which I'm now kicking myself for) but here's some pics of my costume.

Hmm, pictures have gone in in the reverse order that I wanted them in. Never mind, I'll just talk about them in the order Blogger posted them.

I hand sewed the hem. I was off work, sick. It did take several days even so.
